Review by hotel critic
During our Christmas stay at the NH Collection Madrid Gran Vía, I was enchanted by the charming blend of comfort and culture the hotel offers. The spacious suite we were upgraded to boasted a spectacular view of Madrid's skyline, a delightful backdrop for our family adventures. Just steps away from iconic sites like the Royal Palace and vibrant shopping on Gran Vía, the hotel's location is unbeatable for art lovers and explorers alike. Mornings began with a sumptuous buffet breakfast, featuring local specialties that fueled our days of cultural exploration. The highlight was undoubtedly our meals at the Picalagartos Sky Bar & Restaurant, where we savored inventive Mediterranean dishes under the watchful gaze of Atlas, creating a unique ambiance. What truly impressed me was the attentive service; from Guillermo at check-in to David's assistance with transportation, every interaction felt personal and accommodating. For any traveler wanting a mix of relaxation and immersion in Madrid's rich tapestry of history, this hotel is a gem I will return to again and again.
